New movie from Lionsgate ‘Kick-Ass’ became the top box office on Friday. It hits the screens on April 15 with the special show at 10p.m. It was released nearly 1500 screens and it earned $7.6million on Friday to become the top box office movie.
On Thursday special show it earned $1million. The study start from this R-rated movie was expected to be reaching $20million for Saturday. New movie from the comedian Chris Rock “Death at a Funeral” was in the second place on Friday’s box office with earnings of $5.5 million. The R-rated movie was distributed by Sony. Martin Lawrence is a star in that movie. It is expected to be $10million movie for the first three days.
In the last week’s top box office, movie “Date Night” dropped to third place with earnings of $5.4 million and it grossed a total of $37.4 at the box office.
Much expected big movie from the DreamWorks animations “How to Train Your Dragon” still getting good number at the box office. It earned a $4.4 million on Friday at became the fourth top box office movie for this Friday.
3D movie from the Warner Bros “Clash of the Titans” satisfied with $4.3 million on Friday and dropped to fifth place. It has totally earned $121.5 million and looking for new records in 3D screens.
