Ice Age: Continental Drift Coming By summer 2012

New movie Ice Age: Continental Drift is set to release on summer 2012. Yesterday, 20th Century Fox announced that the sequel movie is set to release on July 13, 2012. This new movie is the fourth coming movie from the Ice Age franchise.

20th Century Fox is teaming up with Blue Sky Studios for this fourth installment movie. But, the director for this animated movie hasn’t chosen by the studio. Producers are also thinning to make this movie in 3D as well. If the 3D making is done for this movie than it will became the second 3D movie from this franchise.

The first movie form ‘Ice Age’ in this franchise was came back in 2002 and earned $383.3 million at worldwide box office. This movie is followed by ‘Ice Age: The Meltdown’ in 2006 and it also earned good number at box office. The second movie totally earned $655.4 million at worldwide box office.

The best movie from this franchise came in last year. It was ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’. It totally grossed $884.8 million and now it is following by another new movie.

The plot of this movie hasn’t revealed by the studios. But, it may be the other adventurous journey from Manny, Sid, and Diego. Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary was gave the voice support for the roles respectively.
