New movie ‘Shrek Forever After’ was released on last Friday and hits the Friday box office with $20.8 million by defeating ‘Iron Man 2′ and looking for weekend box office as well. Well, Great New Movies is here to give you the review for this new movie.

This animated movie was directed by Mike Mitchell and the stars Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Jon Hamm, Kathy Griffin and Kristen Schaal gave the voice support. This movie was also released in 3D on huge number of screens.

This fourth installment movie is the final movie from this franchise. The main story line of this movie is based on Shrek felling very boring and the pressure as fatherhood.

Shrek married Princess Fiona and they gave a life to three children. But, Shrek feels that something he is missing when he was a bachelor. Rumpelstiltskin proposes an agreement that Shrek should not have any reason to say ‘NO’. But, he accepted without reading the agreement completely. That’s the key turning in this movie.

That agreement is about to exchange the one day in lives of Shrek and Rumpelstiltskin. As a result of this agreement, Rumpelstiltskin became the king for ever and Shrek moved to new world. He will be in a world where Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek was never born.
