'Twilight Eclipse' grabs Friday box office over 'The Last Airbender'

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, is continuing it’s domination and the good journey at the box office and it crossed the ‘Toy Story 3′. ‘Toy Story 3′, was the box office winning movie for the last two weeks. ‘Eclipse’ domination at the Friday box office is the good news for all the Eclipse fans. But, it’s not good as much of it’s origin movie ‘New Moon’.

On Friday, ‘Eclipse’ earned more amount than on Thursday and this a big figure as it earned $28.6 million to grab the Friday box office. On Thursday, it earned $24.2 million. The total domestic collections of this movie are raised to $121. 3 million in three days. But, ‘New Moon’ got $142.8 million in it’s first three days.

But, the box office experts are expecting that ‘Eclipse’ will earn nearly $190 million in first six days, where as ‘New Moon’ earned $178.9 million on it’s first six days at the box office.

‘The Last Airbender’, is not impressed so much as expected. But, it came into the second place for Friday box office with $16.4 million on Friday. This movie was released on Thursday and it collects $16 million on first day.

‘Toy Story 3′, was the last week top box office movie, but for this Friday box office it failed to get the top spot and it earned $10.5 million on Friday. So, it totally collected $269 million at the box office and looking close to $300 million by this weekend.
