‘Salt’ Battling ‘Inception’ For No.1

Looks like there is a huge competition between, Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Inception’ and Angelina Jolie’s ‘Salt’ in the weekend box office. Inception movie has remained No.1 for the straight second weekend with $43.5 million. This action thriller has collected $143.7 million, in 10 days of its release.

Angelina Jolie’s, spy caper ‘Salt’ stands at No.2 position in the box office with $36.5 million. Steve Carell’s family hit ‘Despicable Me’ is at No.3 position with $24.1 million.

On the Friday, ‘Salt’ has earned $12.7 million and ‘Inception’ has crept $13.2 million. Sources say that there is a fight between the two big movies for the top position in the weekend. ‘Salt’ movie is directed by Philip Noyce and produced by Lorenzo and Sunil Perkash. ‘Inception’ movie is directed by Christopher Nolan and produced by Emma Thomas
