‘Frankenweenie’ and ‘John Carter of Mars’ Release Dates

After the ‘Breaking Dawn’ set in 2012 release, there are lot of other movies scheduled to release in 2012. Disney came up with their new movie release dates. Today, Disney studios announced the release dates of the movies ‘Frankenweenie’ and ‘John Carter of Mars’. Both movies are set for 2012 release dates.

‘Frankenweenie’, has been set with a release date of March 9, 2012. Earlier, lots of rumors were spread that, this movie is set for 2011 release. But, the studio came up with their answer and set it in 2012. John August will write the script for the movie ‘Frankenweenie’

‘Frankenweenie’ will be produced by Tim Burton and this movie will be filmed based on the 1984 short film featuring Shelley Duvall and Daniel Stern. The makers may use stop-motion animation technology to make this a 3D movie. The director and the cast members have not been selected yet.

Another movie from Walt Disney, ‘John Carter of Mars’ will release on June 8, 2012. The movie will be directed by Andrew Stanton and he also serves as a screenwriter with Mark Andrews. Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton and Mark Strong are the main cast in the movie.
