Sylvester Stallone action packed movie, ‘The Expendables’ hits the second week box office without any fight. Box office experts expected that, there may be some tough fight for ‘The Expendables’ from ‘Piranha 3D’ and ‘Nanny McPhee Returns’. But, ‘The Expendables’ is at the box office for the second week without any competition.
‘The Expendables’ earned nearly $16.5 million on this weekend to gain the top spot. It nearly dropped more than 50% of its earnings when compared to the previous week earnings. But, it still tops the week followed by ‘Vampires Suck’ with $12.2 million. With the $16.5 million in this week, ‘The Expendables’ earned $64 million.

Julia Roberts lead role movie ‘Eat Pray Love’ made a good impact in the public and stolen the hearts of all the fans. It earned $12 million to attain the third place for this week. Last week, it was in second spot with $23 million. Much anticipated movies, ‘Piranha 3D’ and ‘Nanny McPhee Returns’ failed to impress the fans and the movies opened their first week with $10 million and $8.3 million to get sixth and seventh spots for this week box office.
Warner Bros. low budget comedy movie, ‘Lottery Ticket’ got some good reviews and the movie earned $11.1 million for the fourth place.
