‘The Avengers’: Scarlett Johansson Only Female Avenger

‘The Avengers’, mix of American superhero’s movie is ready for its shooting. Recently, director Joss Whedon revealed that, Scarlett Johansson is the only female avenger in the movie. So, Scarlett Johansson will reprise her character Black Widow. She played as Black Widow in ‘Iron Man 2’. Director has also said that she will not be the only female character.

He also said that, several superhero love interest will reprise their characters in the movie. So, it’s clear that, Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role of Pepper Potts from Iron Man and Iron Man 2. There may be a possibility of Betty Ross (love interest of Hulk) as well.

Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans will reprise their superhero characters ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Captain America’. Director Joss Whedon will also work as a co-writer with Zak Penn.

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios are planning to release this movie on May 4, 2012.
