‘Little Fockers’ Movie Review: ‘Little Fockers’ is the sequel of “Meet the Parents” an American comic trilogy directed by “Paul Weitz”. The act of “Robert De Niro” and “Ben Stiller” raises comedy to the new levels.
Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) gets disturbed, when his other son in law, Dr. Bob divorces his wife. He then realizes the need of a godfather for the family. He feels Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is the right man. Greg finds himself under critical observation by Jack as he is under financial crisis and feels pressure at work as he is a pharmaceutical representative. He tries to help in promoting their erectile dysfunction drug. There is no need to say that, the situation is worse as Kevin Rawley, an old friend of Pam comes in to town to help for the 5th birthday of Fockers kid.
”Little Fockers” is just like wearing old shoes. The movie is not new and exciting and feels as revisiting the situations and familiar characters. Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller proved their potential again. Cameos by Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand are good. Kevin Hart managed by his own to make laugh.
The re-introduction of all the characters took first 20 minutes. Some scenes make you feel exciting and suddenly it comes back to the same old formula. But, still manages to generate laughs. The role of the children is not much of the story line as it has been titled as “Little Fockers”.
This movie is not about the raising kids but about father-in-law vs. the son-in-law, which is not as good as it should be as the first two parts.
