I am Number Four is a clever movie with the variety of aliens who will be haunted and killed in numerical order. I am Number Four is an exciting and thrilling action movie.
’I am Number Four’ movie is all about John Smith (Alex Pettyfer), one of the survivals of nine children, survived after the destruction of their planet ‘Lorein’ by other aliens ‘Mogadorians’. They escape to earth. He is associated with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant). John moves from town to town changing his identity in order to survive and his guardian. The nine children are haunted by the Mogadorians will be killed in numerical order. John feels the burn of scar on his leg, which is a sign that, he is next to be killed, number four as the third one has already been killed.
He then moves to Ohio, where he meets Sarah (Dianna Agron). The character of Sarah has been limited, as the majority of the movie is dominated by the boy thing. Teresa Palmer plays the survival number six, who is very tough. She delivered an impressive performance, though she got the limited screen time.
DJ Caruso, the director of ‘I am Number Four’ did an incredible work. He already proved his skills with ‘Disturbia’. He displayed his smartness, by gathering the likeable cast, who are not the stars. But, they drive us in wanting them more. Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer and Dianna Agron of Glee are the leading characters of the movie. All the credit goes to the director DJ Caruso.
Caruso preferred to concentrate on the inner conflict of John rather than on action and the act of choking. Gough and Millar are the script writers of the movie. They have managed the script in great way as they are skilled in this kind of style, as they have already worked for ‘Spider-Man 2’ and ‘Smallville’ of small screen.
Overall, ‘I am Number Four’ balanced the story and the audience very smart and carefully, rising as the competitor of the blockbusters of the year.
