Kill the Irishman is a real story of Irish mobster Danny Greene with Ray Stevenson in the lead role. The movie is set to hit theaters this week.

’Kill the Irishman’ movie is adapted from the book ‘To Kill the Irishman’, the story of notorious Irish mobster Danny Greene. Joe Pirillo is the author of the book and Jonathan Hensleigh is the director for the movie. After the hard work for thirteen years, the book has been made to the big screen. Tommy Reed is the producer of the movie.

The movie is set in Cleveland during the period of 1970s. The story is about an Irish mobster Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson) fighting against Italian mafia. Before becoming a mobster, he used to work at docks. Shondor Birns (Christopher Walken) and associated with John Nardi (Vincent D’Onofrio), a gangster tries to hire Danny as a hitman. Danny pursues his self power as he does not like taking the orders from mafia.

Anyone who went after him used to be killed and survives despite numerous assassinations. His fearlessness and invincibility led him to destroy the mafia and earns the status ‘the man the mob couldn’t kill’.

Ray Stevenson, Vincent D’onofrio, Val Kilmer, Christopher Walken, Linda Cardellini, Robert Davi, Vinnie Jones, Tony Lo Bianco, Steve Schirripa, Paul Sorvino, Jason Butler Harner, Laura Ramsey are the star cast of the movie ‘Kill the Irishman’.

The movie is set to hit theaters on Friday, March 11, 2011.
