Jackie Chan, the martial arts star is alive after the rumors surfaced about his death. He is very much alive and the news of his death was only a rumor.

There were rumors surfaced on social networking sites and internet that, Jackie Chan, the martial arts and Hollywood star was dead. As per the sources, he is not dead and is alive. The rumors said that, he was dead because of a heart attack.

According to the sources, he is alive and is doing well. The sources also add that, he did not die of any heart attack, as the news was surfaced on internet. Jackie Chan, 56-year-old, is working for his next movie and is busy with his project.

In order to prove that, his death was a hoax, Jackie Chan posted his picture by himself on his website, in which he was seen meeting the Japanese Council. The post said on his website that, Jackie met Yuji Kumamaru, the Council-General of Japan. He met him in Hong Kong, to discuss about ‘Love Without Borders 3/11 Candlelight Gala”, which would be beneficiary for the Japanese tsunami and earthquake victims.

Jackie Chan will turn 57 on April 7, 2011. The original name of Jackie Chan is Chan Kong-San. Now, he joins the list of Hollywood stars such as Ben Stiller, Charlie Sheen and many more, who have been the victims of death hoax surfaced on internet.
