Gordon Levitt and Marion Cotillard to Star in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard has been announced to star in the upcoming movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

Warner Bros has announced that, the ‘Inception’ stars, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will star in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, the third installment of Batman franchise. Chris Nolan will direct the movie. Christian Bale will play the lead role in the movie.

According to the sources, Marion will play the character of Miranda Tale, the board member of Wayne industries, who is interested to help Wayne Bruce in getting back the enterprises of philanthropy. Gordon-Levitt will play the character of John Blake, a cop of Gotham city, appointed by the Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman).

The two stars will join the cast of the movie along with Anne Hathaway, playing the role of Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy, playing the role of Bane as villain in the movie. Tom Hardy has already worked with Cotillard and Gordon in ‘Inception’.

As per the sources, Chris Nolan, the director of the movie thought to cast Marion and Gordon for the roles of John and Tale and he also said that, it will not surprise him casting them in the movie, as he already worked with them for ‘Inception’ and said that, they are talented actors.

The filming of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is scheduled to start in this year and is dated to release on July 20, 2012.
