Rebecca Black, the new teen pop sensation, has reportedly received death threats which are being investigated by the police department.
Rebecca Black, who has created sensation with her YouTube video ‘Friday’, has received death threats. She received two threats in the month of March, through her production and management organizations.
According to the sources, the police department of Anaheim is investigation her death threats. They are investigating the messages she has received. The sources add that, she has received one threat on phone and one through email.
The sources of Anaheim police said that, they take the issue seriously, though they do not know the intensity of the seriousness of the death threats and they are keeping an eye over it. They said that, Rebecca Black received the death threats, in regard to removal of her video from the internet or she would be killed.
Rebecca Black has created sensation with her debut video ‘Friday’, which got more than 200 million views and she attained 100 million views for her album faster than Justin Bieber. She also surpassed the views of ‘Born’ by Lady Gaga and ‘Pray’ by Justin Bieber. She also became a millionaire with in less than a week. She only spent $2500 for video ‘Friday’.
Reportedly, her hit video will also be featured in the upcoming episode of ‘Glee’. She was unknown, until her video was released on YouTube in February. She is a student of middle-school at Southern California.
