The new and latest movie poster of Green Lantern, with Ryan Reynolds playing the lead role, has been revealed online.

Ryan Reynolds will be seen playing the lead role in the upcoming movie ‘The Green Lantern’ and the new and latest movie poster has been revealed online. The movie has been produced and distributed by Warner Bros. According to the sources, the studio has invested $9 million for effects in the movie.

As per the reports, Blake Lively will play the female lead role of Carol Ferris, in the movie opposite Ryan Reynolds, as his love interest, while Peter Sarsgaard will play the character of Hector Hammond, one of the main villains in the movie.

The story of the movie is about the protectors of peace known as Green Lantern Corps, who are from a small and powerful mysterious world lasting since centuries. Each of the Green Lantern warriors wears a ring, which provided them with superpowers.

Here comes the enemy Parallax, who threatens to destroy the balancing power in the universe. To rescue the universe from Parallax, the Green Lanterns selects a human being, Hal Jordan, for the first time, as they do not respect the humans. Hal is a gifted test pilot, but he forgets his superpowers. But, he has immense determination and willpower along with humanity, which no Green Lantern corps has.

He will be helped and encouraged by his love interest Carol Ferris, restores new powers and courage to fight against his fears. He along with his childhood sweetheart fights with Parallax and eventually becomes the greatest Green Lantern, after defeating Parallax.
