The Fast and Furious latest sequel Fast Five Cars and Crime take over the number one spot in US Top Ten and the North American Box Office this week with setting gigantic figures with the collections.
Starring few of the Hollywood top guns in Fast Few fifth part of Fast and Furious had hit 3,644 locations and collected around $83.6 million over the weekend, it overtook the Fast and Furious’s $71 million and setup a new Franchise record and also stood more than twice what the next standing Rio de Janeiro adventure collected $39.2 million and became the biggest opening of 2011.
Thor had collected $83 million in 56 countries a week before, and where the excitement of the latest cars chasing around struck $83.6 million within 3 days only over United States and Canada, and Fast Five has earned $43.3 million internationally, Russia ($11.5 million), Germany ($10.2 million) and Spain ($6.3 million). Its foreign total stands at $81.4 million.
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker’s latest sequel is become one of the strongest releases after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 which had collected $125 million last November, After two weeks at No. 1, “Rio” has been dropped to No. 2 with $14.4 million; the total for the Fox cartoon went up to $103.6 million. Fox is a unit of News Corp.
