Kelly Preston has been confirmed to star as the wife of John Travolta, in the upcoming family biopic ‘Gotti: Three Generations’.

Kelly Preston has been reportedly confirmed to star in the upcoming family biopic ‘Gotti: Three Generations’. She will play the character of Victoria DiGiorgio, the wife of John Travolta in the movie. John Travolta will play the character of John Gotti, a gangster boss.

Marc Fiore, the producer of the movie said that, they are excited to sign Kelly Preston for the project and they are friends of Travolta couple. He also added that, the chemistry of the real life couple will be great on the screen. Preston was last seen in the movie ‘Casino Jack’ as Pam Abramoff.

As per the sources, Ella Bleu, the daughter of Travolta and Preston, will also appear in the character of Angel Gotti, as their daughter. Now, they will join the cast of the movie ‘Gotti: Three Generations’ along with Lindsay Lohan, who plays the role of Kim Gotti and Steve Buscemi. The sources add that, Lindsay has met John Gotti at her age of three.

According to the reports, Nick Cassavetes, who was hired to helm the movie, has walked out of the project due to the conflicts of the schedules. Barren Levinson will direct the movie now. Joe Pesci will play the character of Angelo Ruggiero, the deputy of Gotti.

The movie has been planned to start its filming in New York City during late fall and is expected to release in theaters in the year 2012.
