Jean-Claude Van Damme, the Hollywood actions star has been confirmed to star as villain, in the upcoming movie ‘Expendables 2’ directed by Sylvester Stallone.

Sylvester Stallone has been looking for Jean-Claude Van Damme, to come aboard for ‘Expendables 2’ as villain. The movie comprises the ensemble of popular action stars of Hollywood. As per the reports, Van Damme will play one of the main villains in the most awaited action sequel of ‘Expendables’.

As per the sources, the news was announced by Sheldon Lettich, the writer-director and the close friend of Van Damme. They both worked together for ‘Double Impact’ and ‘Lion Heart’. The sources add that, Van Damme has himself said that, he would like to play the character of villain in the movie.

Bruce Willis has already been signed to play as the main villain in the movie and ‘Kick Boxer’ star will play as one of the villains in the movie. According to the sources, Sylvester Stallone was in dilemma, if he would make ‘Expendables 2’, but it was confirmed that, he would make it, as he announced that, he was in quest of a director to helm the project.

The ‘Rambo’ star will star in ‘Headshot’ directed by Water Hill, before he starts ‘Expendables 2’. Huge cast of Hollywood action stars, such as, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger and more are expected to join the movie.

It seems that, action movies are making a huge comeback, as the action flicks like ‘Fast Five’ and ‘Expendables’, have been successful.
