The amazing Spider-Man is still rolling through production in New York City with a release date locked in for July 3, 2012.
A new batch of actors has been revealed, Rhys Ifans, who plays Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard. Sally Field plays the aunt of Peter Parker in the film, May Parker. Her husband, Ben Parker role has taken by Martin Sheen.
Also in the cast shed are Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker, Irrfan Khan as Nels Van Adder and Campbell Scott taken as Richard Parker.
Rhys Ifans on the set of “The Amazing Spider-Man” in New York has wearing a green sock above his right arm, which will be impassive later on in post-production. Sources said.
Ifans is playing a role of Dr. Curt Connors, an amputee who lost his arm in a blast while serving in the army squad. In an effort to re-breed his arm, he ingests a serum including reptile DNA. But, it ends up changing into superlative The Lizard.
The The Amazing Spider-Man film makers are using practical effects in the early stages of Connors transformation.
