Jude Law Says, He is too Old to be a Heart-Throb

Jude Law, the member of 2011 Cannes Film Festival Jury said that, he is too old to be a movie heart-throb and play as handsome young man.

The British star, Jude Law said that, he is too old to play the handsome young man roles and be heart-throb on the movie screens. Currently, he is at 2011 Cannes Film Festival, as a member of jury along with Robert De Niro and Uma Thurman.

He said that, he does not get the characters of young man, as he is too old for the roles to play and he can’t play the young characters anymore. He added that, it is the time for the young actors entering the limelight such as Robert Pattinson and he must play the roles of young and handsome.

The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star will be playing the character of a husband of an unfaithful wife opposite Keira Knightley. In the movie he will be betrayed by her, as she falls to a handsome army officer, Count Vronsky played by Aaron Johnson. Jude said that, he suites to the roles of such kind very much.

He quoted that, he is not worried about losing the status of heart-throb, as he always wanted to be known as a ‘Good Actor’. His aim was always to be known as good actor. However, no body was interested, as the society wants the warmness of one’s presence and this is the great defect of the society.

Jude Law has many films this year to come out, including ‘A Game of Shadows’, sequel to Sherlock Holmes by Guy Ritchie.
