James Franco has been confirmed to star in the upcoming indie drama movie ‘Cherry’, which adds him to the star cast of the movie.
James Franco has added another project to his busy schedule, as he has been signed to star in the upcoming drama movie ‘Cherry’. He will play the character of a lawyer, who is addicted to cocaine.
The story of the movie revolves round a teen girl, who comes to San Francisco and enters the industry of adult films. The 18-year-old girl will be involved with Franco, a lawyer who knows her. The movie is directed by Stephen Elliot, who is making his directorial debut. He is the author of ‘The Adderall Diaries’, who Franco is planning to adapt into a movie version as a producer.
Dev Patel of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, Heather Graham and Lili Taylor will also star in the movie. Dev will play the character of best friend of the teen girl, who is also in love with her. Heather will play the character of former adult movie star turned director, who is obsessed with new teen star. Lili plays the character of the alcoholic mother of teen girl.
Stephen Elliot will be assisted by Lorelei Lee in scripting the movie, while Liz Destro of ‘Explicit Ills’ will be the producer and the production of the movie is expected to start next month in San Frnacisco.
