Bill Nighy to Star in ‘Total Recall’

Bill Nighy is in negotiations to join the cast and star in the upcoming remake movie ‘Total Recall’ directed by Len Wiseman.

It seems that, Len Wiseman, the director of ‘Total Recall’ reboot has found an actor to star in a key role, as Bill Nighy is in talks to star in the upcoming movie. He will play the character of Quatto, a resistance leader.

Beside Bill, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel have been confirmed to star in the movie. Kate would play the role of Lori, the wife of Douglas Quaid played by Collin Farrell, while Jessica would play the character of Melina, the love interest in the movie.

The new version of 1990 hit ‘Total Recall’ would be completely different to the original. Farrell plays the role of a company worker, who believes him to be a spy of Euromerica or New Shanghai. But, he is not sure of which place.

Bryan Cranston will play the role of main villain, Vilos Cohaagen, the leader of Euromerica, who is planning to invade New Shanghai. Ethan Hawke plays a vital cameo, which includes the monologue of five pages. Ethan said that, his role would be much bigger than the one expects.

The movie ‘Total Recall’ is scheduled to hit the theaters on August 3, 2012.
