New ‘Green Lantern’ Movie Clip Unveiled

Another clip from Ryan Reynolds’ upcoming movie, ‘Green Lantern’ has been released. In this new clip, Hal Jordan, the role played by Ryan Reynolds will be creating weapons and a shield during his battle against the Parallax who attacks the city. On the other side, the seven clips which have been unleashed have revealed both the superhero and human side of Hal Jordan. He is the first human ever who gets chosen to protect the Earth.

In the latest clip, Hal is accompanies Tomar-Re to know what exactly is going on there. Tomar welcomes him and shows him the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps. He says that the planet has been their home for countless millennia.

Tomar-Re adds that since time immemorial, the Green Lantern Corps has served as the keepers of peace, order and justice throughout the universe to be chosen to join its ranks is the highest of honors and the greatest of responsibilities. Hal replied that he has heard that part. Tomar-Re says that they are going to fly and Hal agrees. Hal looks slightly uncertain but, he pitches off into the city below and then bursts out into the sky.

‘Green Lantern’ has been directed by Martin Campbell and the film centers the role of Hal Jordan who is chosen by an alien named Abin Sur in order to receive a green energy-powered ring used for protection of the planet. A new enemy, Parallax, threatens to destroy the balance of power in the universe which is the fate of the Earth that lies in the hand of Hal. The movie hit theaters on June 17th in both 2D and 3D.
