Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts have teamed up for their upcoming flick, ‘The Art of Getting by’. Gavin Wiesen is the writer-director for the film. The trailer of this romantic movie was out and Emma, Freddie were seen getting closer in the video.
In the video, Freddie Highmore refuses to do an assignment from his teacher and later the romantic sequences between Freddie and Emma are included. He tells Emma that he was nothing; he felt nothing and asks her to change that.
Freddie played the role of George who is a lonely underachieving teen and who is about to fail high school in the end of his senior year. He will be befriended by his crush, Sally played by Emma but he will be unable to express his feelings for her. Apart from this, he faces other problems such as fighting of his parents and he will be warned to complete the year’s homework in just two weeks, or else he being expelled from school.
Gavin Wiesen written and directed film, ‘The Art of Getting By’ is rated PG-13. The movie will make its way only to the selected cinemas on 17th June in then United States and on 23rd September in the United Kingdom. Besides, Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore, the other cast are Sam Robards, Elizabeth Reaser, Ann Dowd, Michael Angarano, Marcus Carl Franklin, Jarlath Conroy, Rita Wilson, Sasha Spielberg and Blair Underwood.
