The official video of the Britney Spears’ ‘I Wanna Go’ has got a release date. ‘I Wanna Go’ video will make its way in the MTV premiere at 6 a.m. ET on Wednesday, 22nd June 2011. The video is just sliding in time to get qualified for this year’s ‘Video Music Awards’. The video will be released just a week after she kicks off her ‘Femme Fatale’ tour on 16th June in Sacramento.
However, details about the video were still wrapped under covers. A rumor were whirling that the video will have less dancing and mainly focuses on the narrative storyline despite the upbeat tune of the song. Reportedly, Britney Spears will be saved by a hunky actor when being hounded by a crowd of paparazzi. Later, they will make out in the backseat of the car.
Since the eligibility period for the MTV Video Awards will end up on June 24th, the music video is premiered just before two days. Britney is eyeing to get scored for the nomination at the event that takes place on 28th August in Los Angeles. Apart from ‘I Wanna Go’, Chris Brown features in New Boys for ‘Better with the Lights Off’ that premieres on Wednesday including Meek Mill featuring ‘Tupac Back’ of Rick Ross hits in the MTV, MTV2 and MTVu screens on 17th June, Friday.
However, the battle will be quite rough as more than 500 music videos will be in disputation for the awards show. Recently, few music videos have made their way out. Among those, Rihanna’s ‘Man Down’, Katy Perry’s geeky ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’, Lady Gaga’s ‘The Edge of Glory’ and New Boyz’ ‘Better with the lights off’ which features Chris Brown are the videos that were paved their path out.
