The Green Lantern 3D has hit the cinemas today and was left low note. As per the super heroes films that have been released recently that include Thor, The Green Hornet, and the X-Men prequel has showed off a good result at the Hollywood cinemas. Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern movie reviews given by critics seems like they have less interest in the movie.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s Green Lantern has offered the movie how a science fictional super heroic film should not be made. Ryan Reynolds plays the role of a cocky fighter pilot Hal Jordan who stumbles upon an alien who will be crash landed on Earth. Before the alien dies, he will be handed over a ring which allows him to fly and also generates green objects either to battle with the enemies or to protect the friends.
Hal struggles to come to terms with his powers and he is hurtled to a faraway planet to learn that he is the first human to be selected to join the Green Lantern Corps, which is an intergalactic force sworn to protect the universe. Later they will need all their resources as the old order is threatened by a gigantic space-travelling monster known as Parallax.
The movie, ‘Green Lantern’ is based on the DC comic books. The movie is not worst but, it is not the way it should be made. The regular comedy actor, Ryan Reynolds has never projected as a crime fighter. Even though he is posed in an action hero look, most of the times, we will be reminded that he is a man who looks funny.
We strongly say that even the most uncritical man notices that the Green Lantern shall not exactly shine in the box office cinemas.
