Ed Helms of ‘Hangover’ is set to star in the upcoming comedy ‘True North’ by writer and director Rob Pearlstein.
The ‘Hangover’ star, Ed Helms, who played the character of Stu in the movie, has been set to star in the upcoming comedy flick ‘True North’. Helms will also perform as the executive producer of the movie.
As per the reports, Warner bros is planning to develop the comedy-drama movie along with Brian Grazer of Imagine Entertainment. The studio has acquired the story from Rob Pearlstein, an Oscar award nominee writer and director.
The story of the movie focuses on a selfish talk-show host, played by Ed Helms, who will be in coma for two years, after a plane crash. After waking up from coma, he finds that, his appearance has been changed by surgery. He then tries to find out his family to get connected with his former life.
Ed Helms earlier has starred in both the flicks of “Hangover’ of Warner bros and ‘Cedar rapids’ for Searchlight. He has also been reportedly set to star in a comedy for Warner Bros, in which he will play the role of re-enactor of a Civil War.
He has also been lined up to star along with Isla Fischer, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez, in a romantic-comedy movie ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’. On the other hand, Pearlstein has also directed ‘Medium’ and ‘The Inside’, but he won an Oscar Award nomination for his short film ‘Our Time is Up’.
