Joe Rogan is coming back to the NBC’s rebooted ‘Fear Factor’. Joe Rogan’s rehiring will lead him to the eight episodes of the stunt show that will be shot with two of them being two-hour specials. Joe Rogan returns to ‘Fear Factor’ after five years of hiatus.
Joe Rogan was the popular color commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was struggling stand up comedian and the C-level actor on ‘News Radio’. On 2001 he has debuted as the host in ‘Fear Factor’, which is a stunt-oriented reality show on NBC that challenged the ordinary people and the couples to accomplish extra ordinary daredevil feats for average sums on money.
Matt Kunitz, the executive producer of the ‘Fear Factor’ has said that the reboot will embrace technology in a way that the earlier incarnation was unable to achieve. The reality television show, ‘Fear Factor’ has premiered on the network in 2001 summer time and has run for six seasons with Rogan. The series was pulled during its revamped season 6 in 2006 as it has faced the struggle in head-to-head competition with the Fox’s ‘American Idol’. During its time of running, the show was averaged about 11.5 million viewers.
