Matthew Fox and Ed Harris, who were in talks to join and star in the upcoming comedy action flick ‘World War Z’ have quit the project.
It seems that, the upcoming comedy action movie ‘World War Z’ would take some more time to start its filming, as two of its major roles have walked out of the project. Matthew Fox and Ed Harris have reportedly quit the movie.
Earlier, Matthew Fox has been set to portrait the role of a ‘Parajumper’ and Ed Harris was believed to play an unidentified character. As per the reports, Fox has walked out of the project, due to his schedule conflicts with his another project I, Alex Cross, who plays a vicious serial killer in the movie.
However, the reason of Ed Harris leaving has not been specified. He was believed to be in the negotiations to star in the movie. The filmmakers are rushing to recast the roles, which were left by Harris and Fox.
The movie has been adapted from a novel, written by Max Brooks. The story is set with 10 years ago, over a zombie threat. Brad Pitt will play the character of a researcher of UN Postwar Commission.
The upcoming movie ‘World War Z’, include the cast of Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos of ‘The Killings’, Anthony Mackie of ‘Adjustment Bureau’ and James Badge Dale of ‘The Pacific’. The filming of the movie was set this month in London, Malta and overseas locations and was expected to reach the theaters in the year 2012.
