Jesse Eisenberg, the actor who performed the role of Mark Zuckerberg in ‘The Social Network’ has admitted that his performance in the ‘Holy Rollers’ is better than the previous movie. Jesse Eisenberg has confessed that he thinks his performance in the new movie was better than his Oscar nominated turn Mark Zuckerberg.
The actor has said that the involvement of the director, David Fincher and the screenwriter, Aaron Sorkin given suggestion to him that the drama will definitely succeed although he admitted that he was taken aback by the accolades his performance as Facebook co-founder Mark received.
Eisenberg has told that he has never been in a movie that he has received that kind of attention. He added that he knew that David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin have been involved in movies in the similar manner. He said that he thought by virtue of his involvement that it would not receiver that kind of attention. He continued that he was very surprised that it has done as well as it has.
In the ‘Holy Rollers’, Kevin Asch makes his fact based directorial debut with the intriguing Brooklyn tale that Hasidic Jews were used to smuggle Ecstasy into the United States. Speaking about this, Jesse said that he felt in many ways but just personally that he had done a better job in Holy Rollers and it really feels strange. He added that he think actors have this experience all the time where they have put the identical amount of effort into a project and then one receives so much attention compared to another.
