Singer-Songwriter Jewel and her professional Bull Rider husband Ty Murray has been blessed with a baby boy. Jewel and Ty, who had been trying to conceive for 2 years before getting pregnant, wed in 2008 in the Bahamas.
According to the reports which were revealed on Jewel’s website, the happy couple welcomed their son and named him as Kase Townes Murray born at 7 PM on Monday in Texas, weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz.
The Grammy-nominated singer, 37 and Bravo star stated in a statement posted on her site that, Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world. We are overcome with happiness and it really is as great as everyone told us it would be, better even!
As you are aware, Jewel found out that she was pregnant on the first day of her reality songwriting competition show, Going Platinum.
In January, she stated that she has taken the pregnancy test and it was positive. She further says that it was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I would start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, Oh, she’s pregnant.
In the mid-1990s, the singer-songwriter experienced her biggest hits with songs like, You Were Meant For Me and Who Will Save Your Soul. She released her initial country record, Perfectly Clear in 2008.
