Rhys Ifans is set to star in the upcoming James Bond movie ‘Bond 23’, who will be reuniting with Daniel Craig.
The ‘Enduring Love’ star, Rhys Ifans is reportedly set to star in the upcoming bond movie ‘Bond 23’ opposite Daniel Craig. Both the stars have earlier worked for ‘Enduring Love’. However, the role of Rhys has not been revealed yet.
Rhys has recently completed his upcoming movie ‘The Amazing Spider Man’. He will play the villainous character ‘Lizard’ in the movie. It does not mean that, he would be playing the villain role in bond movie again, because Javier Bardem has already been cast to play the villain role.
He would now join the cast of ‘Bond 23’ with Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris of ’28 Days Later’, who will play the role of Miss Moneypenny. Judy will play the role of M16 chief ‘M’.
As per the reports, Rhys might travel to South Africa to film the movie, as most of the scenes will be filmed there. Daniel will be back, reprising his role James Bond 007. Sam Mendes will direct the movie. The story of ‘Bond 23’ will start, where ‘Quantum of Solace’ has been left.
The filming of the movie is scheduled to start later this year and is expected to reach the theaters in United States on November 9, 2012, as it was planned.
