Ralph Fiennes, the villainous Lord Voldemort of ‘Harry Potter’, is set to direct the upcoming Dickens biopic ‘The Invisible Woman’.
The Lord Voldemort of ‘Harry Potter’, Ralph Fiennes has been set to direct the Dickens biopic movie ‘The Invisible Woman’. The movie has been adapted from the non-fiction work by Claire Tomalin.
The story of the movie is about the love story between Charles Dickens and the actress Ellen Nelly Ternan, an affair of 13 years, which lead him to leave his wife. The script of the movie is written by Abi Morgan of ‘Shame’ and ‘The Iron Lady’.
’The Invisible Woman’ would be the next project of Ralph, after he has made his directorial debut with Shakespeare adaptation ‘Coriolanus’, which also won strong reviews at Berlin Film Festival. Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave, Jessica Chastain, Brian Cox, James Nesbitt, Paul Jesson and John Kanil will play the lead roles in the movie, which is set to release in theaters in January 2012.
As per the reports, Carey mulligan of ‘Drive’, Felicity Jones of ‘The Tempest’, Imogen Poots of ‘Fright Night’ and Abbie Cornish of ‘Sucker Punch’ are the leading actors on the list of Ralph, to play the female lead role in the movie.
Ralph is making busy himself, as he is set to play the role of Prospero in ‘The Tempest’ on stage in London and has also been confirmed to play a role in ‘Bond 23’, who will reunite with Daniel Craig.
’The Invisible Woman’ is expected to hit the theaters in 2013.
