Harry Potter, the magical kid also has some magical items where he protects himself as well as sneaks around when the situation requires. Particularly, the magical items have been enchanted with magical powers and are utilized by heroes and villains alike in the war of wizardly supremacy.

The ‘Cloak of invisibility’ was gifted to Harry Potter from Albus Dumbledore who received it from Harry’s father. This allows him to vanish into thin air and he then discovers that the Cloak has protective enchantments which can shield him from harm. Eventually, Harry learns that the Cloak is one of the three objects known as ‘The Deathly Hallows’ granted to a trio of wizards long ago by Death himself. The Cloak of invisibility can even hide its wearer from Death and there by making one of the most powerful artifacts in existence.

Secondly it is the Elder Wand which is considered to be the granddaddy of all wands. The Elder Wand trumps them all and is considered unbeatable when facing any other want in direct combat. However, it can only be wielded by defeated its previous owner. The allure of power of this magnitude, the Elder Wand has generated a terrible history of treachery and murder as grasping wizards have sought to eliminate each successive owner of the wand so they can take its power for themselves. Eventually, the Wand comes to rest in Dumbledore’s grave where Voldemort claims it as his own.

‘The Resurrection Stone’ in the last of the Deathly Hallows enables its wielder to breach the boundaries of death and communicates with those who have passed over into the afterlife. Although it can even bring those who have passed on back to our world, but not to true life as its initial owner Cadmus Peverell discovers to his great dismay. He attempts to use the Stone to bring back his lost fiancée, but soon sees that all he had succeeded in doing was causing his departed love tremendous pain and leading to his suicide.

An indestructible blade crafted by goblins that are known in Harry Potter’s world for their exquisite craftsmanship is the Sword of Gryffindor, an artifact once belonging to the founder of Harry Potter’s own house at Hogwarts. In addition to this, the sword also possesses the ability to absorb the power of whatever it is unleashed against and thus making it a weapon that actually becomes stronger with use. Harry and his friends use the sword to destroy a monstrous basilisk and it absorbs basilisk’s own destructive power and it is used in their quest to destroy Voldemort’s horcruxes.

The Voldemort’s Horcruxes is the darkest of magic invoked by Voldemort. He has no greater obsession than extending his own wretched existence for as long as possible. These are the objects which are each imbued with a portion of his soul and made nearly indestructible. This process ensures that as long as the objects survive so too will Voldemort. It thereby enables him to return from seeming destruction time and again.
