The upcoming movie ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ with Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell in the lead roles is set for release on this weekend.

The superhero flick ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ is based on the Marvel comics character named Captain America. The movie is the fifth version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The story of the movie is about the character of Steve Rogers, a sick man from Brooklyn, who passes the test, despite his unimpressive performance at physical training and gets transformed into a super soldier ‘Captain America’, who joins the forces of Bucky Barnes and Peggy carter. They all get together to fight against the terrorist organization ‘HYDRA’, which is led by ruthless and villainous Red Skull.

Chris Evans plays the role of Steve Rogers/Captain America, Sebastian Stan dons the role of Bucky Barnes, Hayley Atwell will play the character of a secret agent, Peggy Carter and Hugo Weaving of ‘The Matrix’ will play the role of villainous Red Skull.

The other cast of the movie include Tommy Lee Jones, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Derek Luke, Stanley Tucci and Neal McDonough. Tommy plays the role of Colonel Chester Phillips, Dominic as Howard Stark, a famous inventor, Stanley Tucci as Dr. Abraham Erskine, a scientist, Neal as Timothy Dugan, Derek Luke as Gabe Jones.

The script of the movie has been provided by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, while Joe Johnston is the helmer. The movie with a budget of $140 million is an action-adventure genre and produced by Kevin Feige.

The superhero movie ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ is set for release on Friday, July 22, 2011 in United States.
