The first look of Emile Hirsch in the upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘The Darkest Hour’ has been unveiled. Emile Hirsch plays the role of Lukie and the released photo; he is seen hiding behind a car and looking very scared. However, the picture also shows the famous St. Basil’s Cathedral in Red Square in Moscow, as the background.
In ‘The Darkest Hour’, Emile Hirsch portrays one of the five young Americans who get stranded in the capital of Russia. The youngsters are forced to fight to keep surviving after an alien invasion. Besides this thrilling plot, the movie also highlights the beauty of Moscow scenery with the combination of the remarkable special effects by visionary film-maker Timur Bekmambetov and the director Chris Gorak.
In addition to this, Chris Gorak also has written the script alongside Josh Zetumer, M.T. Ahern, Jon Spaihts and Leslie Bohem. The four young Americans roles besides Hirsch are played by Rachel Taylor who acts as Khaled, Max Minghella who plays Pota, Olivia Thirlby who plays Kyle and Joel Kinnaman who stars as Kaloe
‘The Darkest Hour’ sci-fi thriller is rated PG-13 film and is scheduled for its release in the United States and Russia on 23rd December.
