"Kevin Bacon R.I.P.D Villain" Kevin Bacon is in negotiations to play as villain in the upcoming supernatural comic-book adaptation ‘R.I.P.D’.

The villain of ‘X-Men: First Class’, Kevin Bacon is close to his yet another villain role in the upcoming movie ‘R.I.P.D’ directed by Robert Schwentke of ‘Red’. The reports suggest that, the star is in final negotiations to lock the deal.

Kevin will face Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges as a villain in the movie. The movie has been adapted from a comic-book series, written by Peter Lenkov. The story of the movie follows a cop, who has been killed, joins the supernatural Rest in Peace Department, to find out the man, who killed him and solve his death case. As a part of the mission, he joins an older grumpy officer and fight against the bad guys.

Ryan Reynolds plays the character of young cop, who gets killed and Jeff Bridges dons the role of an older police officer. Earlier, it was reported that, Jodie Foster will also be joining ‘R.I.P.D’, where she plays the role Procter, the R.I.P.D boss, who also reunites with the director Robert, who both worked for ‘Flightplan’.

Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi provide the script of the adaptation, while Neil H. Moritz, Ryan Reynolds, Jonathan Komack Martin and Mike Richardson will produce the movie via Dark Horse Entertainment, Dark Trick Films and Original Films. David Dobkin, Ori Marmur and Keith Goldberg will perform as the executive producers of the movie.

Kevin Bacon is well known for his work in the movies ‘The River Wild’ and ‘Hollow Man’ as a villain and he also received positive reviews for his negative role in the recent superhero flick ‘X-Men: First Class’. He will next be seen in ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ and ‘Jayne Mansfield’s Car’ directed by Billy Bob Thorton, which is filming right now.
