Olivia Wilde to enact Linda Lovelace in ‘Lovelace’

After her appearance in ‘Cowboys & Aliens’, Olivia Wilde seems to be playing the character of Linda Lovelace in a biopic ‘Lovelace’.

The ‘House’ star, Olivia Wilde has been reportedly set to star in the upcoming biopic ‘Lovelace’. She might play the character of porn star Linda Lovelace in the movie. Linda was the star, who brought the porn thing into mainstream with her 1970s hit movie ‘Deep Throat’, which was certified with X-rate.

As per the reports, she is considering playing the role of Lovelace and has already signed for the movie. The movie would be directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, the directors of ‘Howl’, who also won the Oscar award.

It seems that, Olivia Wilde is getting busy with her work, after she clinched the roles in four upcoming movies like ‘Cowboys & Aliens’, ‘In Time’, ‘The Change-Up’ and ‘Butter’. About choosing her projects, Olivia said that, she is being careful in choosing the projects, as she is in a stage, where she could be choosy.

On playing the role of Lovelace, she said that, she is very interested in the role and it would be an honor for her, as the role is such cool. She also added that, Lovelace was a fascinating woman, as she came from the stage working in ‘Deep Throat’ to work with Gloria Steinem and Nora Ephron.

The biopic ‘Lovelace’ was earlier considered to cast James Franco as Chuck Traynor, a pornographer. Apart from this project, there has been another project ‘Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story’, under development by Matthew Wilder. Malin Akerman will play the role, after she has replaced Lindsay Lohan.
