The Summit Entertainment has got their new movie trailer of ‘The Darkest Hour’ unveiled. The first trailer of ‘The Darkest Hour’ is the done-to-death premise undergoes two small spins making it intriguing. The story takes place in a modern-day Moscow where the aliens are largely invisible.
After setting the jet around the Russian capital, the group of young guys and girls portrayed by Olivia Thirlby, Emile Hirsch, Rachael Taylor and Max Minghella finds the city was under siege by many invisible aliens that feed on electricity. The cars will be dead of having no battery, all the building grow dark and apparently the guns seem to have no effect on the beings force fields. Hopefully, Hirsch thinks that there is a way to stop them.
The director of ‘The Darkest Hour’, Chris Gorak who has acted as art director for some iconic movie-makers that includes Terry Gilliam for ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ and with David Fincher for ‘Fight Club’ and with Steven Spielberg for ‘Minority Report’ dealt with a more Earthbound but it is equally hard-to-see menace in his directorial debut in 2006’s ‘Right at Your Door’ where the movie projects a terrorist attack results in a deadly chemical gas being unleashed on Los Angeles.
The movie is produced by Timur Bekmambetoy and Tom Jacobson. This alien invasion-themed movie will be arriving on theatres just before couple of days of Christmas, 23rd December.
