Matt Dillon has been confirmed to star in the upcoming indie comedy movie ‘Imogene’ directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini.
The ‘In & Out’ star, Matt Dillon has been confirmed to join Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening in the upcoming comedy flick ‘Imogene’. He will play the role of love interest of Annette Bening, who claims to be a CIA agent. However, his behavior suggests him to be crazy.
The ‘Bridesmaids’ star, Kristen Wiig plays the role of a New York playwright, who fakes a suicide attempt, to get back her boyfriend. As a result, she loses her job, boyfriend and apartment. Annette plays the role of an addicted gambling mother of Wiig in the movie.
Matt has recently been confirmed to join the cast, after he dropped out of ‘Freaky Deaky’, an adaptation directed by Elmore Leonard. The production of the movie ‘Imogene’ has already been started this week in New York City.
Michelle Morgan provides the script for the movie, while Trudie Styler and Maven Pictures of Celine Rattray will produce the movie. Kristen Wigg is also part of the production team for the indie comedy.
Matt Dillon was lastly seen in ‘Takers’. He was also been a guest on ‘Modern Family’. He was earlier expected to star with Brendan Fraser and William H. Macy in ‘Freaky Dealy’. But, left the project as Brendan was followed exiting the project.
