Kiowa Gordon, best known for his part as werewolf Embry Call in “The Twilight Saga” movies, was arrested for two outstanding warrants in Arizona on Tuesday.
According to the Mesa Police statement released on Wednesday night, ‘The Twilight Saga’ actor was a passenger in a vehicle registered to him, when he was stopped by the Tempe Police Department.
During a registration check on that vehicle, it showed the registered owner (Kiowa Gordon) had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for him to take into custody. There were no new charges as a consequence of Tempe Police Department’s contact with Gordon.
The first warrant was subjected by the Mesa Municipal Court ($1000 bond) and the second had been issued by the Scottsdale Municipal Court ($500 bond).
Earlier, the now-21-year-old actor was arrested by Mesa PD on Sep 2, 2010 for driving under manipulate of drugs after his vehicle was seen turn sharply into the bicycle lane. He was progression for DUI test and released with a quotation to appear in the Mesa Municipal Court.
A call for Gordon’s arrest was consequently issued on February 25 after he failed to emerge in front of court.
In addition to his character, as a shape shifting part of the “Twilight Saga” wolf pack, Gordon is schedule to star in the upcoming horror thriller “Into the Darkness,” along with John Schneider and Mischa Barton.
