Brad Pitt to Star as Assassin in ‘The Gray Man’

Brad Pitt is believed to be in negotiations to star as elite assassin in the upcoming thriller adapted movie ‘The Gray Man’.

The ‘Troy’ star, Brad Pitt is reportedly in negotiations to star in the lead role of the upcoming thriller project ‘The Gray Man’ for the New Regency. If the deal gets locked, he will play the role of an elite assassin in the movie.

The movie ‘The Gray Man’ has been adapted from a thriller novel, written by Mark Greaney with the same title. Brad will play the role of a CIA agent, who turns into an elite assassin, who is on a run, after his bad experience of his lost job. He needs to confirm the safety of his family, as the forces are looking out to get him.

Adam Cozad will provide the script for the project, while Dede Gardner, the partner of Brad’s Plan B Productions will serve as the producer of the movie along with Shine’s Stephen Garett. It is reported that, James Gary has been considered to helm the project.

Brad Pitt was considered for the lead role, the moment it was announced about the project, last January. However, the speculations were denied as the rumors. It was also speculated that, Brad was unable to commit the project, as he and his wife Angelina, did not preferred to work together at a time.

The production of the upcoming thriller ‘The Gray Man’ has not yet been announced. But, it was suggested that, the production would start, as soon as Brad Pitt completes the filming of his upcoming zombie flick ‘World War Z’, directed by Marc Foster.

Brad Pitt and the New Regency have already worked together in the past for ‘Fight Club’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’.
