Djimon Hounsou has been allegedly confirmed to play the role of Angel of Death in the upcoming adaptation ‘Paradise Lost’.
The ‘Gladiator’ star, Djimon Hounsou has been reportedly confirmed to join the cast and star in the upcoming adapted flick ‘Paradise Lost’. He would play the role of Angel of Death in the movie. Alex Proyas will direct the adaptation.
The two times Oscar nominee will now join the cast of the movie with Bradley Cooper and Benjamin Walker. The movie is based on the classic poem of 17th century, written by John Milton. The poem explains the epic was between archangels Lucifer and Michael.
The ‘Limitless’ star Bradley Cooper plays the role of Lucifer, while Benjamin Walker of ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ will play the role of Michael. Djimon will join them in the role of Angel of Death.
Djimon, 47 is well known for his roles in the movies like ‘In America’ of 2002 and ‘Blood Diamond’ in the year 2006. This year, he also had a DVD movie ‘Elephant White’ and he also played in many films like ‘Never Back Down’ and ‘The Tempest’. He was also a model.
The production of the upcoming adapted movie ‘Paradise Lost’ will start next January in Australia and is expected to be out in theaters in the fourth quarter of the year 2013. The movie basically focuses on the battle between the good and the evil.
