The blonde beauty enters into a new year, turning into 39 Cameron Diaz was captured in a tumbling, mega mini LBD celebrating her birthday with Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez at the upscale New York City eatery The Lion on Monday night.

Diaz was recently named as the greatest modern day blonde in a poll conducted by Clairol and came in at number four of all time behind ultimate icons Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot, turned 39, enjoyed the party and headed back to A-Rod’s Central Park West apartment.

However both A-Rod and Diaz haven’t officially announced their relationship, but recently when Cameron Diaz was asked about their relationship she laughed and just said No, no, no I’ve been in relationships since I was 16 years old. In the past three years I’ve made a conscious decision not to be in a relationship for as long as I want. I want to have a relationship with myself right now.

Diaz’s recent releases were The Green Hornet, co-starring Seth Rogen, and Bad Teacher, moving into 39th year Diaz still looks awesome and her upcoming projects are, Gambit and What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
