Due to the false copyright claim by iLCreation against Justin Bieber YouTube site, several videos from VEVO hosted site has been removed. Bieber’s fans have seen nothing but a message saying that the video is no longer available due to copyright claim by iLCreation. YouTube has removed the videos as per the copyright claim against Bieber’s videos filed by iLCreation. The video-sharing site removes any type of video if there is a question raised of copyright.
The policy of the site says that any time YouTube becomes aware that a video or any part of a video on their site infringes the copyright of a third party; the video shall be removed from the site as required by law. It also says that if any one of them believes that the video on the site disobey their copyright, it asks to send us a copyright to them and they’ll take it down.
VEVO, hosting the Bieber microsite has said that the copyright claim was a glitch. It also said that they are working on the false copyright claims on Bieber, Gaga YouTube videos as-soon-as-possible. One of the spokesperson has told that few videos of the Canadian pop star and the Mother Monster were briefly taken down by the video-sharing site as a result of false copyright claims and the issue has been resolved.
Publicly, VEVO has written that the hackers were taken down and everything is coming back to youtube.com/justinbiebervevo. In addition to this, it also said about the removal of Bad Romance video that it is also backing up. It advices the fans that let them go directly to their official website and its mobile apps where YouTube copyright claims never take down videos.
