The comedy flick ‘Horrible Bosses’ has topped the Australian weekend box office for the consecutive second week.
The movie ‘Horrible Bosses’ features Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day in the lead roles with Jennifer Aniston, the rumored girlfriend of Justin Theroux in the female lead role has grossed $2.1 million in tickets sales at Australian weekend box office for the second straight week at the cinemas. This left the Australian based movie ‘Red Dog’ in the second place, just as in the last week. This week, there have been debutants at box office with ‘Final Destination 5’, ‘The Help’, ‘One Day’ and ‘The Guard’.
’Horrible Bosses’ has grossed $2,174,511, which gave the huge competition to ‘Red Dog’, which managed to gross $1,659,278. The new entry ‘The Help’ debuted straight in third place, grossing $1,046,311, while ‘Final Destination 5’ managed fourth place with $965,774. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis starrer, ‘Friends With Benefits’, which was in third place last week, slipped to fifth place $748,198.
’Cow Boys & Aliens’ dropped to sixth place from third in the last week with $651,737, while ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ also slipped to seventh from fifth of the last week, managing to gross $585,458. The two other new entries ‘One Day’ and ‘The Guard’ managed to get the eight and ninth place with $569,098 and $295,415 respectively. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: part 2, the final installment of the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise is in tenth place with $278,941, after it dropped from seventh place in the last week.
