Jamie Foxx to host ‘Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert’

The host was named for the Michael Jackson tribute concert and it is Jamie Foxx. The tribute named ‘Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert’ is planned for October in Wales. Jamie’s spokesman has said that the Oscar-winning star of ‘Ray’ is set to host the Michael Jackson tribute concert which is scheduled for 8th October in Cadiff, Wales.

Among the performers Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson was added. However, the tribute show is not affiliated with Jackson’s estate but Katherine, Jackson’s mother and other family members are scheduled to attend the show. The organizers had to rescind an offer to the Kiss band last month and other fans. Jackson’s estate noted that Gene Simmons, the singer-bassist had harshly criticized the pop singer over the years.

Regarding the concert, Katherine said that it is with great gratitude for her to give his complete blessing and full support to what she consider to be the one and only official Michael Jackson Tribute Concert. She added that it will be there along with as many members of her family who are available. She also said that she is positive that this event will be an event great enough in scale, talent and imagination to form a worthy celebration of Michael’s life.

It is also learnt that Katherine and Michael’s children Paris, Blanket and Prince Michael will also attend the concert. Earlier, a rep told that the kids are extremely excited and are hoping that they will have the opportunity to contribute in some way by making a speech.
