"Mark Wahlberg’s Contraband Trailer" The first trailer of the forthcoming action-thriller movie ‘Contraband’, with Mark Wahlberg in the lead role has been released online.

The trailer of the upcoming action flick ‘Contraband’, features Mark Wahlberg’s return to the criminal world, he has left and started a family. He is pulled back, in order to fight against duct taped masked criminals, after his brother-in-law steals from a wrong gangster. Besides the trailer of the movie, Universal Pictures also revealed many fresh stills of the movie.

The story of the movie ‘Contraband’ revolves round Chris Farraday, the role played by Mark Wahlberg, tries to stay out of the criminal world, he had worked hard to quit it behind. After coming out of the criminal life, he leads a normal life with his wife, who is always ready to do anything to protect her. The movie has been set with the backdrop of New Orleans, where it unveils the cutthroat underworld of International smuggling, where loyalty is hardly found and death is one wrong turn.

Besides Mark Wahlberg playing in the lead role, he is joined by the stars like Kate Beckinsale, who plays the role of his wife, Caleb Landry Jones, who dons the character of his brother-in-law Andy, Ben Foster as Sebastian, the best friend of Mark and Giovanni Ribisi plays the role of Tim Briggs, the mafia boss. The movie ‘Contraband’ is directed by Baltasar Kormakur, while Aaron Guzikowski has provided the script for the movie. The movie has been scheduled to hit the theaters on January 13, 2012.
