‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 13 Week 3 Performances

The 10 celebrity contestants took to the dance floor again with their dancing partners, to perform in the third week of season 13 ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

The remaining 10 celebrities performed for the third time on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 13, in front of the judging panel of Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Len Goodman. In the third week of the show, all the contestants danced on the theme of ‘Most Memorable Year’ of their lives, portraying their stories of their personal trials through their performances and the choice of their dances.

Robert Kardashian chose the year of his father’s death as the memorable year of his life and performed Foxtrot on ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ along with his dancing partner Cheryl Burke. The judges said that, they loved his footwork and postures and praised him saying that, he sticks to the programme and is improving week by week. Rob scored 24 out of 30 points. Chynna Phillips chose the year 1990, when the first single ‘Hold On’ of Wilson Phillips released and is also the year she met her husband Billy Baldwin. She did Rumba with Tony Dovolani on ‘Hold On’. The judges commented that, she was seductive and stylish through her performance and her movements were perfect, which was stunning to watch. They scored 26 out of 30 points.

Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer performed Rumba on ‘Laugh at Me’ of Sonny and Cher. The judges were impressed by his courage to do Rumba. However, it was not his best performance, as he appeared distracted and lack of continuation motion. They scored 18 points. The pair of Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas did Samba on Beyonce’s ‘Crazy in Love’, after Cavallari chose her graduation year as the memorable year. The judges commented that, the style of the dance is difficult to perform and added that, the performance was fabulous and described her as ‘fast moving devil woman’. The pair scored 24 out of 30 points.

Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya did Tango on ‘It’s My Life’ of No Doubt. The judges said that, the performance was brilliant, enthusiastic. They also praised saying that, Carson has brought excitement, drama and fun to the performance. The pair scored 23 points. JR Martinez Jr. and Karina Smirnoff performed Rumba on Tim McGraw’s ‘If You’re Reading This’, after he chose the year of 2003, he got injured in Iraq. Martinez receives a standing ovation from the audience. The judges said that, his performance was extraordinary and applauded for touching everyone with his performance. They scored 26 points.

Nancy Grace chose the year 2007, as her memorable year, when she was pregnant with twins, where she was badly ill and almost she was dead with her daughter Lucy. She performed Waltz with her partner Tristan McManus on ‘Moon River’ of Andy Williams. The judges said that, she needs to try to better her postures and work on ball room stretches. However, the judges said that, she has improved. The pair scored 21 points. Ricki Lake chose the year 2010, as she got divorced and her house burned down. Ricki with her partner Derek Hough did Rumba on ‘Gravity’ of Sara Bareilles. The judges commented that, every step she has done was expressive as a word of a poem and said that, she was on fire with her performance and scored 27 out of 30 points.

Hope Solo picked the year 2011 as her memorable year, after the US women’s team reached the finals of the Soccer World Cup. She performed Cha-Cha with Maksim Chmerkovskiy on ‘Tonight’ of Enrique Iglesias. She was suggested to work on her walks, though the performance was good, as she has got potential to dance. The pair scored 24 points. The Hollywood actor David Arquette and Kym Johnson did Rumba on The Five Stairsteps’ ‘O-o-h- Child’, after he chose the year 2010, who was hurt, after he divorced with his wife Courtney Cox. The judges about the performance said that, it was a nice comeback by the actor and also showed the pure and honest emotions. The pair scored 24 out of 30 points.
