It all started with Apple co-founder. The recent demise of the Technology guru, Steve Jobs has raised many issues about his life and Sony Pictures has given their response to make a biopic based on his book ‘Steve Jobs’. However, many of us knew that Jobs was the high-end brilliant person in technology but few of us knew that he was not a degree holder and was not too good in the classroom walls.

Steve Jobs has got himself enrolled in Reed College in Oregon. But, one year later, after completing his first semester, he dropped out of the college. In addition to Jobs, it was Bill Gates who after scoring a near-perfect 1590 on his SATs, he has enrolled at Harvard but left without a degree to start Microsoft Corp. Besides them, the Indian born Dhirubhai Ambani, the Reliance founder was only 16 during the time he left for Aden to work as a clerk owing to financial issues in family. Speaking about sports, the 38-year-old Sachin Tendulkar from Team India, a well known cricketer has never attended a college in his life time.

Interestingly, the genius director Quentin Tarantino is a high school dropout who went to work in a video store for his love for movies. The movie-maestro Steven Spielberg was also not known for his academic excellence. The interesting fact about his is that he even failed to get the admission into a film-making institute. The Fashion designer, Ralph Lauren, the founder of Polo has left the City College of New York business school to design ties for Beau Brummel. Later the same year, he launched Polo.

The former American Idol judge and the current America’s Got Talent judge, Simon Cowell has dropped out of school at age 16 and has landed a job in the mailroom at EMI. At the age of 23, he left to start his own record label ‘Fanfare’. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg has left Harvard to relocate to Silicon Valley for the wonder effect of Facebook, packed through his dreams.
